The highlights of the new release
We have released Mg 0.4.6 in our site on a pay-as-you-like basis.
This update addresses client requests and ensures compatibility with the latest SysMLv2 updates (2024-07, version 0.43.2).
There are two important points to note with this release:
-
Due to the update of the SysML standard, imports are now private by default. This may impact existing SysML model libraries, so you will need to update them if you expose symbols with default import.
-
This release does not include examples of MgPy-MgX integration. We will add these in a future release or on our GitHub project.
Key features of this release include the bidirectional integration of MgX and MgPy. You can now call Python methods or run scripts directly from Excel, including Jupyter notebooks, using Excel formulas or VBA. Conversely, Python can access and modify Excel cell values. These enhancements significantly boost engineering productivity through automation.
We remain committed to continuously improving Mg to further enhance SysMLv2 productivity.
