Mg 0.7.0 is here — introducing Mgent, our AI agent for MBSE
After two months of focused development, we’re pleased to announce Mg 0.7.0, featuring Mgent: a fully integrated AI agent that automates a wide range of MBSE tasks across SysML v2, Python/JupyterLab, Excel, PowerPoint, MATLAB/Simulink, and DOORS Next.
During development, Mgent took over nearly 80% of our own modeling work.

Starting from parameters and requirements in Excel, Mgent builds SysML and Python models, lets you edit the SysML model directly from Excel, and then creates a Simulink model to verify the requirements.
This isn’t a scripted sequence. Mgent autonomously works through many iterations of tool calls, validation, error detection, and correction to complete the workflow.
It doesn’t always get everything right on the first try — and it doesn’t have to.
Mgent acts, validates, detects errors, and tries again — sometimes dozens of times — until the job is done.
That agent loop, combined with deep tool integration and model validation, is what makes it possible to automate complex MBSE workflows.

Running Mgent uses Mgent credits, since AI agents consume significant LLM resources (1 Mgent credit = 1 USD).
Mgent runs through our own LLM gateway, backed by inference providers under Zero Data Retention (ZDR) agreements.
